PCTFE – Polychloro-Trifluoroethylene Applications

Polychloro trifluoroethylene (PCTFE) A crystalline polymer that is known primarily for its barrier properties. PCTFE films are optically clear, bondable to other carrier materials such as PVC and PET. It is primarily used in blister packaging for pharmaceuticals due to its excellent resistance to moisture. When thermoformed, PCTFE exhibits excellent detail and clarity. Common tradenames for PCTFE are Aclar, Kel F
