High Performance Fluoropolymer Bags Made with Teflon® Film

Bags made from high performance materials are designed to withstand the most aggressive conditions. All of our bags are produced in our new Hampton, NH facility using state of the art thermal impulse sealers to strict quality guidelines. All of our welds are optimized and tested for maximum strength. Peel strength data and certification can be provided if required.

Characteristics of bags made from high performance materials:

  • Chemically inert: Will not contaminate the contents of the bag
  • Chemically resistant: Resistant to harsh chemistry and most solvents
  • They operate at high temperatures. Upwards of 400 degrees F, (205C)
  • They operate at Cryogenic temperatures -400 Degrees F (-205c)
  • High impact and tearing resistance
  • Non-wetting
  • Non-stick, easily cleanable and re-useable
  • FEP and PFA bags are optically clear almost all wavelengths of light
  • Low permeability

High performance bags made from Teflon® FEP and Teflon® PFA and modified PTFE are used for:

  • Sampling bags for liquids, gasses, and soil
  • Cryogenic storage (Overwrap bags and tissue storage)
  • Pail and drum liners

When designing a bag, you should know the physical dimensions (Length, width, and Height) In addition to the volume it will need to hold.

What will the bag be required to do? Are moisture, sunlight, chemical attack, puncture resistance, re-sealability important?

What is the best material for your particular application, and what is the best way to seal it?

Do you need a valve, septum fitting, tube, spout etc…..we can help you design and fabricate a custom solution.

Is the bag going to support weight that might cause the material itself to fail? If so, then a liner is quite often a better choice. Ingeniven can fabricate pail, drum, and tank liners for any size or shape container you have.
